The Process

1

Book Your Free Quote

Tell us your vehicle type, condition, and location. We'll get back to you fast with what to expect — no pressure, no guessing.

2

Wash and Decontamination

We start with a thorough two-bucket hand wash, followed by an iron fallout spray and clay bar treatment. Your paint has to be completely clean before anything goes on it.

3

Surface Prep

We wipe every panel with an IPA solution to strip away any remaining polish residue, wax, or oils. This step is what makes the coating bond properly — skip it and the whole job is compromised.

4

Ceramic Coating Application

We apply the ceramic coating panel by panel using an applicator block and suede cloth, working in a shaded or controlled environment to prevent flash-curing. Every inch gets covered evenly.

5

Leveling and Initial Cure

After a short flash time, we level the coating with a clean microfiber to eliminate high spots. The vehicle then sits undisturbed during the initial cure window before we move on.

6

Glass and Wheel Coating

We coat all exterior glass for hydrophobic water sheeting and apply a separate wheel coating to the face of each wheel so brake dust stops sticking the way it normally does.

7

Final Inspection and Handoff

We walk the entire vehicle under lighting to confirm even coverage and no missed spots. Then we go over aftercare with you — what to avoid in the first week and how to maintain it going forward.

Is This Right For You?

Ceramic coating is the right call if you own a truck, SUV, or daily driver you plan to keep for years and want to stop spending time and money on wax jobs every few months. It's especially worth it in the Central Coast climate where sun exposure, road dust, and occasional coastal air from Pismo and Shell Beach wear on your paint faster than you'd think.

Common Questions About Ceramic Coating

With proper maintenance, a professional ceramic coating typically lasts two to five years depending on the product tier used and how the vehicle is cared for. Washing regularly and avoiding harsh detergents will keep it performing the way it should.
Ceramic coating adds a layer of hardness over your clear coat, which reduces light scratching from things like dust wiping and automatic car washes. It won't stop a key scratch or a rock chip — for that, paint protection film is the better option.
Ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in — it doesn't hide swirls or scratches, it seals them. If your paint has visible marring, we'll let you know during the inspection and can discuss whether a paint correction pass makes sense before we coat.
Most vehicles take a full day — typically six to eight hours depending on the size of the vehicle and the condition of the paint going in. We'll give you a realistic time estimate before we start.
You'll want to keep the vehicle dry for the first five to seven days while the coating fully cures. After that, a regular hand wash or touchless wash is fine — just avoid automated brush washes, which can degrade the coating over time.
